great location but minor housekeeping concerns

The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive during our visit, always eager to help. The bedding was clean and remarkably comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Additionally, the room size offered ample space to relax, making our stay enjoyable. We also appreciated the easy access to various dining options nearby, enhancing our local experience.

Our experience was disappointing due to miscommunication regarding late checkout. Despite confirming a late checkout of noon, I received multiple calls urging me to leave by 11:15 AM. The situation escalated when a maintenance person attempted to enter the room, disregarding the do not disturb sign, which made me feel very unsettled.

I enjoyed my stay in a spacious king studio with sofa bed, which was perfect for relaxing after long walks, and the easy access to Prescott Park and Market Square made my city strolls incredibly enjoyable.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything! Staff were friendly and very accommodating, making our stay enjoyable despite a mishap.

We had a little drama with the elevator—call button was broken, leading to some unnecessary stress as we waited for assistance when it was busy.

The kitchen was a huge plus, but I was surprised by the lack of an oven. Breakfast options were pretty mediocre, with the toasters not working well and no fresh fruit available.

Really liked my room! It was spacious, clean, and super comfy. The bed was a winner, and the shower was nice and hot. I didn't notice any street noise even being on the second floor, which was a pleasant surprise. Plus, the location was perfect for walking around downtown Portsmouth. Everything felt pretty updated, so that was cool too!

the walls were super thin, but the pool was really nice and the gym got some good equipment. breakfast was a pretty solid spread too. staff was friendly and the room had enough space for our family! !
